Bladder Cancer

Bladder cancer is one of the most obvious targets for PDT. Teams in the USA have already made some significant progress with patients. One of the advantages with PDT is the ability to precisely target the treatment.

Over the past four years the charity has received hundreds of pleas for PDT to be offered for bladder cancer, and while it would be possible to treat all these patients, there is simply not the funding, and it would be much better for the long term development of PDT for this cancer to assemble the required budget and plan a formal trial.

The intention would be to partner UK and US teams with this trial, allowing us to rapidly establish PDT as the treatment of choice.

If you are interested in helping to fund this essential work, you will find more details in the black ‘donate’ section of the website.
